As the Social Media and Community Manager, you will set and execute the strategy for our overall social media marketing efforts. You will manage our social media channels in terms of posting and community management. You will work collaboratively with all teams at GoodBarber to grow community engagement and brand awareness. You'll have the chance to create exciting, custom creative campaigns that integrate across all of the company's social channels.
Develop content topics and creative campaigns to reach our global target audiences
Consistently post engaging and meaningful content.
Create, curate and manage content on all social platforms including creating (or working with 3rd parties to create) original videos, memes, gifs, cinemagraphs and images within brand guidelines
Become an advocate for us on social media, engaging in dialogue and answering questions in the company’s tone of voice
Assist in building our brand’s presence and personality through social
Advise and implement on most effective hashtags and keywords for social media
Monitor trends and keep up to date with social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Research and recommend ways to reach non-English speaking target audiences including social channels, influencers and tailoring content
Manage and monitor analytics, dashboards, reporting tools and recommend tweaks to the social media strategy based on analytics
Assist in managing influencers and influencer strategies
Research and make recommendations on how best to grow the GoodBarber community on social
Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
Work with other members of the marketing team to integrate and amplify all communications including press releases, blog posts, events and project milestones
1-2 years of social media experience
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, ...) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Excellent English writing and language skills.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and other richer formats (i.e. video).
Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of work and multi-task
Great organizational skills and experience managing projects
Some basic knowledge of SEO techniques and Google Analytics (desirable).
Knowledge of photoshop, premiere pro, illustrator etc (desirable)
